This Victorian vicarage offers 5 star comforts in the beautiful Montgomeryshire countryside. There are hills, fields and views that stretch for miles. The dining room is perfect for a leisurely organic breakfast, benefiting from the morning sun with a view over the front garden and the hills beyond. There are logs fires, luxury bedrooms and a feeling of peaceful generosity that will leave you wishing to return again and again. Wines are mainly organic, and Tim's menus use the best of local organic produce. Meat from Welsh Farm Organics, and organic flour from nearby Bacheldre Watermill for the homemade bread. There is a kitchen garden, polytunnel and free range hens, all of which contribute to the experience. Electric vehicle charging and bicycle hire both available on site.

Their pedigree is impeccable; they worked with Joyce Molyneux, whose Carved Angel at Dartmouth was one of the country's best restaurants in the 1970's and 1980's. Simon Hopkinson once wrote of Tim's ethereal cheese soufflé baked with parmesan and cream, describing it as possibly the finest example outside of the kitchens of Le Gavroche.

The bed linen is sourced from the Best Bed Linen in the World as are the fluffy white towels. Beds are adorned with throws hand-made here in Mid Wales at the Cambrian Woollen Mill.There are flat-screen TV's, bathrobes, hair dryers and complimentary mineral water. The toiletries are made in Wales by Conscious Skincare, a range of hand-made luxury products created using ingredients that are pure, natural and organic whenever possible.
