Netley Hall Holidays Netley Hall Estate is a rural haven in the heart of Shropshire's countryside, yet only six miles from the famous historic mediaeval town of flowers - Shrewsbury.

With a relaxing, luxurious holiday lifestyle very much in mind we have 22 beautiful, individually styled self-catering properties to choose from.

Nearby sites of historical interest Sited near the English/Welsh border in the area known as The Marches, which has seen many a conflict between the two nations in past centuries, the countryside around Netley Hall is well blessed with castles, strongholds and fortified houses.

Offa's Dyke is nearby and, for the enthusiast, there is a waymarked walk from one end to the other (Further information from the Offa's Dyke Centre in Knighton, which is well worth a visit if you want to brush up on the history of this famous landmark).

The National Trust and English Heritage own a number of properties in and around Shropshire, Attingham Park, Dudmaston Hall, Benthall Hall, Stokesay Castle and Buildwas Abbey to name but a few, all of which are well run and make excellent venues for interesting visits.

In the locality The Shropshire Hills are just four miles away - if a ramble up the Long Mynd suits your mood and the medieval town of Ludlow, famous for its Michelin-starred restaurants, is around a 35 minute drive from Netley.

Shrewsbury, said to be the finest Tudor town in England, is within 10 minutes drive. Visit the town in August and experience the joys of one of the best flower shows in the country; savour the delights of a truly cosmopolitan range of restaurants, pubs, tea shops, and wine bars.
